During a routine stop-and-search operation in Benin City, the Edo State Police Command apprehended two individuals, Collins Evbayiro, 34, and O. Nagbagbonmuna, 35, for possession of a firearm. The suspects were found with a locally made cut-to-size double-barrel gun and two live cartridges in their Toyota Yaris vehicle. The police mentioned that an investigation is underway to uncover the intentions of the suspects and any possible links to criminal activities.
