The police in Ogun State have apprehended a welder, a truck driver, and a truck owner following the accidental electrocution of a 23-year-old apprentice at a welding workshop in Ifo. The incident was reported by the victim’s father to the police. Upon investigation, it was discovered that the welder was working with an exposed live wire, which led to the apprentice being electrocuted when a truck rim came into contact with the wire. The police have seized the welding machine and wire as evidence, and the individuals involved are in custody pending further investigation.
