In Akwa Ibom State, police operatives conducted a successful raid on a suspected cultists’ hideout in Ukanafun Local Government Area, resulting in the recovery of a locally made pistol and two live cartridges. The operation was carried out based on credible intelligence, leading the criminals to flee upon the arrival of the officers, leaving behind the firearm. Although no arrests were made at the scene, investigations are underway to apprehend the suspects.
