A well-known actor, Abdulsalam Sanyaolu, who was popularly referred to as Charles Olumo and Agbako, has passed away.
The announcement was made by the president of Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Bolaji Amusan, also known as Mr Latin, on Instagram.
In a statement, it was mentioned that Pa Charles Olumo Sanyaolu, known as AGBAKO, has passed away. Further details about the burial arrangements will be communicated later. He lived from 25/02/1923 to 31/10/2024.
Another Nollywood actor, Jide Kosoko, also confirmed Agbako’s death, expressing his condolences.
Agbako celebrated his 101st birthday earlier this year.
