A member of the All Progressives Congress in Osun State, Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, has emphasized the importance of constructive criticism from opposition parties in Nigeria. Oyintiloye urged opposition parties to avoid making statements that could incite the public against the government. He highlighted that while it is essential for opposition parties to hold the government accountable, criticism should be constructive and aimed at improving governance rather than creating division.
Oyintiloye stressed that negative comments and criticisms from the opposition could sow discord and bitterness among Nigerians, hindering national unity. He emphasized that constructive criticism plays a crucial role in promoting good governance and democracy. Oyintiloye also called for collaboration between the government and its critics, suggesting that engaging critical stakeholders during policy formulation could help minimize opposition during implementation.
Overall, Oyintiloye emphasized the need for responsible criticism and collaboration between the government and opposition parties to enhance governance and create a better society for all Nigerians.
