QASIMI RISING is excited to announce its new collaboration with Lagos Fashion Week to support emerging designers and creatives in the region. The partnership aims to discover hidden talents in Africa.
QASIMI RISING will be involved in identifying promising designers and providing them with a pathway to the next season of the QASIMI RISING Talent Incubator for the 2026 intake. Selected designers will have the opportunity to showcase their work and participate in workshops with mentors and press during Lagos Fashion Week in October 2024.
As part of the partnership, QASIMI RISING has appointed the Founder and Executive Director of Lagos Fashion Week as the regional Ambassador and advisor for the program. Her expertise will offer valuable insights to emerging designers navigating the fashion industry in the region.

The collaboration between QASIMI RISING and Lagos Fashion Week aims to empower local designers and bridge the gap between local talent and international recognition, ushering in a new era for African fashion.
Eligibility criteria for designers include being a registered business with 1-3 years of operation, producing garment collections, having production facilities in Africa, showcasing at least 2 collections, maintaining a social media presence, and participating in Lagos Fashion Week 2024.
