The former Director of Youth Mobilisation and a candidate for the 2023 House of Representatives under the African Democratic Congress for Ningi/Warji Federal Constituency of Bauchi State, Zakari Garba, submitted his resignation from the party. His decision, detailed in a letter dated December 8 and directed to Chief Okey Nwosu, National Chairman of ADC, cited a disparity in beliefs and values between himself and the party’s stance as the reason for his departure.
Garba expressed gratitude for the opportunities to serve in various capacities within the party but emphasized that his personal convictions no longer aligned with those of the ADC. He thanked his supporters and hinted at announcing his future political endeavors soon.
