Soldiers ambush bandits, kill three in Kaduna-Abuja expressway operation

Troops from Sub-Sector 4, Operation FANSAN YAMMA, conducted a successful ambush on bandits near the Kaduna-Abuja highway, resulting in the neutralization of three of them. The Acting Deputy Director of Army Public Relations for 1 Division, Nigerian Army, Lt-Col. Musa Yahaya, confirmed the operation. The ambush took place near Ngwagi Hill, Gwagwada Community, based on credible intelligence. The troops recovered arms and ammunition, including AK-47 rifles, magazines, and various supplies. The success of the operation showcased the troops’ high morale and efficiency in combat. Maj.-Gen. Mayirenso Saraso, the Commander of Sector 1 Joint Task Force Operation FANSAN YAMMA, commended the troops and urged them to continue their efforts in neutralizing criminal elements in the area.
