The recovered items included two AK-47 rifles, an automatic pistol, AK-47 magazines, and a Baretta pistol magazine. The individuals are currently undergoing interrogation to gather crucial information that could lead to the apprehension of other members involved in the illicit arms trade.
It was emphasized that criminal activities transcend ethnic or religious boundaries, and collective efforts are necessary to combat such threats effectively. The proliferation of firearms poses a significant risk to security, and Operation Safe Haven, in collaboration with other security agencies, remains vigilant in dismantling illegal arms networks.
