The Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, emphasized his administration’s dedication to advancing Anambra’s digital landscape. During the Anambra Innovation Week, held in Awka, the state’s capital, Soludo highlighted the significance of technology and innovation for the state’s future. He envisioned transforming Anambra into a technology hub, fostering local productivity and global competitiveness. The event featured speakers like Ehia Ehabo, who discussed opportunities for investment in technology and entrepreneurship in Africa.
Chinwe Okoli, the Special Adviser to Soludo on Innovation and Business Incubation, praised the governor’s support for the Innovation Week. The event aimed to promote collaboration, showcase innovations, and shape a digital future for Anambra and Africa. Through various activities such as innovation discussions, a career conference, and a focus on digital transformation, the event sought to bridge the technology gap and empower Anambra digitally.
The theme “creating the Africa now” reflected the governor’s vision of digitally empowering Anambra. Soludo’s administration is dedicated to integrating technology into every aspect of governance. The event was attended by government officials, tech experts, and young inventors who were awarded cash prizes for their innovative solutions.
