Terror kingpin Bello Turji ready to surrender, says CDS

A well-known leader associated with terrorism has indicated his intention to surrender, as revealed by the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, during an interview on a television program.

General Musa shared that recent military operations aimed at dismantling the leader’s network have significantly disrupted his operations, resulting in the removal of key members and the release of hostages.

He highlighted the challenges faced in tracking the leader due to the unpredictable nature of his movements, making it tough to act swiftly on gathered intelligence.

Despite the difficulty in pinpointing the leader’s exact location, the military’s recent achievements have put pressure on his group, prompting considerations of surrender.

General Musa emphasized the importance of ensuring accountability for those involved in violent activities and causing harm to innocent individuals.
