Three Delta kidnap suspects killed, four rifles recovered

In a recent incident in Delta State, three suspected kidnappers were killed by the police during a confrontation. The kidnappers had attempted to abduct a member of the Delta State House of Assembly’s wife but were met with resistance. The police, led by Commissioner Olufemi Abaniwonda, swiftly responded to the failed kidnapping attempt by intensifying security measures in the area.

Following a violent encounter at Okoloba Junction, where two policemen and a driver were killed, the police strategically deployed in the region. The suspects were traced to a location in Agbarho, where another gun battle ensued. The police successfully neutralized three suspects, while others managed to escape.

The commendable efforts of the police, particularly the Ebrumede Division led by CSP Iwok Ndifereke, were acknowledged by the Police Commissioner. The recovered weapons and the bravery displayed during the operations were praised, with a call for continued dedication from all officers in the command. Efforts to capture the remaining gang members are ongoing, ensuring the safety and security of the community.
