A well-known gospel artist is preparing to launch a new project—a gospel reality show called At Home with the artist, with the goal of mentoring aspiring gospel singers in the industry.
In a recent interview, the artist referred to the project as a ‘divine mandate’ received several years ago.
The artist shared, “About eight years ago, I received a message to gather young gospel singers for a retreat to provide mentorship. During this event, we will have ministers of God and respected gospel musicians joining us.
“The main focus is to host a reality retreat/show with a divine purpose of mentoring upcoming gospel singers with the word of God. We will study the Bible, engage in discussions, and offer guidance based on shared experiences and insights from seasoned gospel singers and ministers present.”
The artist mentioned facing challenges in starting the project due to financial constraints. “Securing sponsorships for gospel-related initiatives has been challenging, and funding this endeavor alone is not feasible. I plan to make this an annual event if we can secure adequate funding.”
The artist also revealed that prominent gospel figures expected to participate in the inaugural edition include various well-known individuals.
