In recent military operations against terrorism in Yobe and Borno states, Nigerian Army forces successfully neutralized four terrorists. Two of the terrorists in Yobe were eliminated while operating a tax collection point in Ngazargamu area. Acting on intelligence, the troops launched an assault, resulting in the terrorists’ demise and the recovery of weapons. Similarly, along the Gamboru-Logomane road in Borno State, troops ambushed ISWAP fighters, killing two terrorists and seizing weapons.
In the Federal Capital Territory’s Kuje area, troops rescued four kidnapped victims from Gaube Village in response to a kidnapping incident in Dafara Village. Additionally, four bandit arm suppliers were apprehended in Plateau State through separate operations. One operation led to the arrest of a female firearms courier and an accomplice at Barikin Ladi Motor Park, uncovering ammunition smuggling activities. Another successful raid in Ambakka village resulted in the arrest of a wanted terrorist, Alhaji Adamu Bajara, and the recovery of weapons. Furthermore, troops recovered stolen livestock and subdued cattle rustlers in Mile 8, Pankshin Local Government Area.
