Gospel singer Mercy Chinwo recently made serious allegations against her former manager, accusing him of exploitation, threats, and spreading false information about her child’s paternity. In a video shared on Instagram, Chinwo expressed fear for her safety due to the manager’s actions, which led her to move from Lagos to Port Harcourt. She claimed that he also sponsored fake news about her child because of his dislike for Pastor Nathaniel Bassey.
Chinwo further stated that her ex-manager tried to force her into a long contract, seized her royalties for two years, and engaged in manipulative behavior. She clarified that reports of her taking legal action against him were misleading. Despite the emotional toll these events have taken on her, Chinwo remains steadfast in her faith and belief in justice prevailing.
