Two goals from a Nigerian player were enough to secure a 3-2 victory for Galatasaray against Samsunspor at the RAMS Park in Istanbul over the weekend.
The player scored two goals with another from a former Chelsea striker, contributing to their lead in the Turkish Super Lig standings.
The first goal was scored in the 3rd minute after a cross from the right flank was headed into the net by the player.
After halftime, Samsunspor leveled the game with a penalty kick before the player scored a second goal in the 55th minute.
Another goal from Galatasaray sealed the win, with Samsunspor scoring a late penalty but falling short of a draw.
Galatasaray maintains the top spot with 31 points, leading by six points over Samsunspor in second place with 25 points.
A touching moment occurred in the game when the player held up a teammate’s jersey after scoring a goal, showing support for the injured player watching from the stands.
