A fire incident occurred at No. 51, Debo Plaza, opposite Lam Adesina Junction, Felele, Ibadan, affecting two churches and a furniture shop, as reported by the Oyo State Fire Service.
The General Manager of the agency, Yemi Akinyinka, confirmed the incident and mentioned that the Redeemed Christian Church of God parish and New Covenant Church were among the affected establishments.
Akinyinka stated that the fire was contained by the prompt response of the fire fighters, preventing it from spreading to nearby buildings. The blaze primarily damaged plastic chairs and PVC materials used for ceiling decorations.
