Tòkunbọ̀, a new film helmed by director Ramsey Nouah, is scheduled to debut on Netflix on August 23rd. The gripping crime thriller delves into a realm of urgency and peril, tracking a former car smuggler who must transport a government official’s daughter to her captor within three hours or risk severe consequences for his family.
The ensemble cast showcases some of Nigeria’s finest talents including Gideon Okeke, Chidi Mokeme, Funlola Aofiyebi – Raimi, Norbert Young, Majid Michel, Adunni Ade, Ivie Okujaye, Tosin Adeyemi, Stanley ‘funnybone’ Chibunna, Darasimi Nadi, and Aaron Sunday.
Tòkunbọ̀, which marks Ramsey Nouah’s third directorial project, presents an original narrative by Story Story Hub and is produced by Ramsey Films and Sozo Films.
