During the festive season, the government of Cross River State has decided to suspend all traffic enforcement activities to accommodate the expected influx of visitors, specifically for the Carnival.
The suspension will be in effect for three weeks, starting from December 24, 2024, to January 13, 2025, as announced by the Traffic Management and Regulatory Agency.
The decision to temporarily halt traffic enforcement aligns with the state governor’s focus on prioritizing the welfare of the people.
Director General of the Cross River State Traffic Management and Regulatory Agency, Effiong Umoh, emphasized the importance of observing road safety measures during this period while enjoying the various holiday activities.
This initiative aims to create a welcoming and safe environment for residents and visitors alike, ensuring a joyous holiday season for everyone involved.
