A student at the Air Force Institute of Technology in Kaduna ran an impressive 64 kilometers to celebrate Nigeria’s 64th Independence Day. The long-distance run took place within the Nigerian Air Force Base, starting at 5 am and ending at 10 am. The student expressed his love for Nigeria and showcased his talent in running. This was the second year in a row that he commemorated Nigeria’s independence with such a run, having covered 63 kilometers the previous year. His coach, Sergeant Wayo Emmanuel, has been instrumental in guiding his athletic progress over the years. The student’s achievement was recognized and praised by the Director of Public Relations at AFIT, emphasizing the importance of resilience and collaboration between the youth and the government for national success.
