FRSC warns public against fake recruitment

The Federal Road Safety Corps recently issued a warning to the public about fake online publications falsely claiming an ongoing recruitment by the corps. The statement, delivered by the Assistant Corps Marshal and Corps Public Education Officer, emphasized that there is currently no recruitment taking place, and advised potential applicants to ignore such misinformation.

The Corps Marshal clarified that there are no immediate plans for recruitment and that any official recruitment processes will be transparently announced through verified channels such as the FRSC’s website, social media platforms, and the National Traffic Radio 107.1FM. The public was cautioned against interacting with individuals or platforms spreading false recruitment claims, as these could be potential scams targeting unsuspecting applicants.

It was reiterated that the FRSC will not be responsible for any losses incurred by individuals who become victims of such fraudulent schemes. The Corps Marshal urged both prospective applicants and the general public to disregard these misleading publications, emphasizing that the recruitment procedures of the Corps are consistently transparent and publicized through various official channels.
