FG declares holidays for Christmas, New Year 

The Federal Government has officially declared public holidays on Wednesday, December 25; Thursday, December 26; and Wednesday, January 1, 2025, to commemorate the celebrations of Christmas, Boxing Day, and New Year. The announcement was made by the Minister of Interior, with a call to Nigerians to uphold values of love, peace, and unity during this festive period. Emphasizing the importance of familial and community bonds, the Minister highlighted the government’s commitment to ensuring peace, security, and prosperity nationwide. Additionally, he expressed confidence in the potential for a more prosperous 2025, driven by the Renewed Hope Agenda.
