Again, two killed in Lagos, Ogun auto crashes

Two separate accidents occurred along the Lagos-Ibadan and Lagos-Abeokuta expressways resulting in the loss of two lives, including a driver and a pedestrian. The driver died after colliding with a moving truck due to brake failure on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, while the pedestrian was hit by a wrong-way driver on the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway. The accidents were attributed to brake failure and excessive speeding, as confirmed by the spokesperson for the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority. Despite rescue efforts, the driver of the minibus involved in the collision was found lifeless in the wreckage. In another incident on the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, a pedestrian lost their life after being struck by a traffic-violating driver. The pedestrian was fatally injured while attempting to cross the road. The authorities are conducting further investigations into both accidents to determine the causes and prevent future occurrences.
