A 44-year-old individual, the founder of a well-known website, faced charges in France related to the Pelicot rape case.
If found guilty, the individual could potentially receive a prison sentence of up to 10 years and a fine of 7.5 million euros.
Following the indictment, the individual was released under judicial supervision after paying a bail of 100,000 euros and is not allowed to leave France.
