The governor of Abia State is dedicated to improving infrastructure in the state, regardless of whether they are federal or state projects. During a recent church service in Aba, he mentioned ongoing renovations at the NYSC orientation camp, emphasizing the state’s commitment to development. The governor highlighted various projects being undertaken, such as road dualization and repairs, showcasing the state’s proactive approach to infrastructure improvement.
He also shared the cost-saving strategy employed in renovating the NYSC camp, opting for direct labor instead of contracting out the work. By utilizing this method, the state government saved a significant amount of money, demonstrating fiscal responsibility without resorting to borrowing.
The governor emphasized the importance of honesty and prudence in his administration, stating that integrity is a core value. He expressed gratitude for the support received from the church and the community, acknowledging the role of prayers in his journey to leadership.
