Osun LG poll: PDP, APC clash over video of voters

An individual who previously served as a Special Adviser on Education to the Osun State Governor cautioned the public about videos on social media depicting voters participating in the local government election in the state.

The Director of Media of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state refuted this claim, stating that the election was largely successful throughout the state.

Expressing his views on the election, a member of the All Progressives Congress in the state mentioned that voting did not take place in Ife Central LG or any part of the state. He highlighted an incident where police intervened to disperse hoodlums blocking a road in Ilare Ward 3, Ile-Ife.

He emphasized that no voting occurred in Ife Central and accused the PDP of sharing old election footage on social media to mislead the public.

Conversely, the Director of Media for the PDP disagreed, asserting that the election was conducted successfully across the state and awaited the results from the Osun State Independent Electoral Commission.
