Businessman, Olakunle Churchill, recently took to his Instagram story to send what seems to be a subtle response to alleged rumours of filed divorce claims from his wife, Rosy Meurer. Although none of the parties involved has come out to confirm or refute the claims, Churchill took to his social media to celebrate his children, noting his proud father moment.
On his page, he posted a video clip of his children having a fun time together and wrote, “Watching my children love each other the way they do reaches a part of me I can’t fully explain. It brings me a kind of peace that doesn’t need validation. Life hasn’t been perfect. There have been challenges and distance. But from the moment they met, they connected in a way that was natural and effortless. Nothing was forced. It just happened. They chose each other.
“In a world where so much can be uncertain, what they share is real and honest. As a father, there is nothing greater than seeing that. When I look at them, I see a love that rose above everything. Differences, circumstances, whatever may have come between them, they didn’t hold onto it. They simply found each other. That alone gives me peace. At the end of the day, I will always choose my children. Every single time. Without hesitation. What they have is something no one can manufacture, and no one can take away. And I am proud. More than words can express.”
He went further to state firmly that, “As a father, if I am ever in a place where I have to pick between my kids or anyone/anything else…I’m picking my kids. Period!!!”
Recall that in February, Rosy had openly declared her support for Churchill when he reunited with his ex-wife, Tonto Dikeh. Although this came as a surprise to some, many are wondering what changed between that time and now.
Reacting to the latest development, several users shared their opinions. Heartstreaming wrote, “We all saw this coming. Slept with a married man and married him, but can’t stand him communicating with his ex-wife and child. Second wives really be doing the most.”
Churchill got married to Meurer in 2021, and they have two children together.
