The district head was tragically murdered before the ransom could be delivered to the bandits. The news of his death was confirmed by the local lawmaker, revealing that the ransom delivery team found him already deceased.
Following a funeral prayer held for the monarch, enraged youths protested, blaming the government and local political figures for not doing enough to secure his safe return. The police assured they were monitoring the situation to prevent any escalation. Before his death, the district head had made a plea in a video for help, expressing disappointment in the lack of government intervention.
