In a recent tragic incident on the Abuja-Kaduna expressway, 21 travelers lost their lives in a collision involving a trailer truck and a passenger Hummer bus. The accident occurred near a route diversion, where vehicles were directed to a single lane. Eyewitnesses mentioned that the driver of the truck fled the scene, leaving behind his vehicle and causing a blockage on the highway.
According to an anonymous official from the Federal Road Safety Commission, three passengers survived and were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, while the deceased were taken to the hospital’s morgue.
