Operators of Delta Yahoo academy facing trial – Police

The police in Delta State have reported the arrest of numerous individuals associated with an online fraud academy named Hustlers Kingdom in the Warri region. A total of 123 suspects have been detained and are currently undergoing legal proceedings. According to the Delta Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, the suspects were apprehended after one of them contacted family members using a laptop provided by the academy. The suspects were promised training in BTC trading and Forex but ended up in a cybercrime training network. The arrested individuals, mostly teenagers, were lured with false promises and trapped into engaging in fraudulent activities. Some operators of the academy have also been apprehended and are facing trial. One of the students, Gbolahan Olaide, shared his harrowing experience of being held captive for nine months after being deceived by a friend. Despite the ordeal, the authorities are investigating the case, and those involved will be prosecuted accordingly.
