Ardova HPL: Tojemarine win again, Delta Queens pip Grasshoppers

In the latest Ardova Premier Handball League match, the leading team, Tojemarine Academy, triumphed over Adamawa Warriors with a score of 44-25, securing their second victory in the ongoing 2024 season phase in Lagos. Tojemarine Academy demonstrated their dominance by also defeating Correction Boys 35-27 in a previous match, showcasing their determination to claim the league title.

Tojemarine’s commanding performance was evident as they capitalized on scoring opportunities, guided by Coach Adewunmi Shittu’s strategic instructions to secure the win against Adamawa Warriors. Despite efforts from the Yola team to challenge Tojemarine, the leaders consistently broke through the Warriors’ defense.

In other men’s category matches, Rima Strikers claimed a victory over Benue Buffaloes with a score of 37-21, while Owena King received a walkover against Confluence Stars. In the women’s category, Delta Queens narrowly defeated Imo Grasshopper 35-34, and Safety Babes overcame Seasiders Babes 32-30.

Additionally, De Defenders Babes secured a notable win against Bendel Dynamos in the women’s category. The league continues with intense competition as teams strive to excel in their performances in the remaining matches.
