The Nigeria Police Force recently announced the apprehension of five suspected armed robbers in Lagos and Anambra states following intelligence-led operations. According to the Force Public Relations Officer, the Lagos State Command nabbed four suspects in the Costain area, who later confessed to their involvement in criminal activities after questioning.
In a separate operation in Anambra, one suspect was arrested and led the police to his residence where three AK-47 rifles were recovered. The Inspector-General of Police has directed the deployment of officers to various locations to enhance security during the festive period. Residents are urged to cooperate with law enforcement and report any suspicious activities to ensure safety.
