AirlineRatings.com has released its 2026 World’s Best Airline Awards, with Qatar Airways ranked as the top full-service airline globally.
The annual rankings, which assess airlines based on inflight product and passenger experience, place Cathay Pacific second and Singapore Airlines third.
According to a report obtained from AirlineRatings on Wednesday, the awards are based on measurable onboard criteria, including seating comfort, catering, inflight entertainment, and overall service delivery, rather than public voting

The rankings highlight the continued dominance of Asian and Middle Eastern carriers in global aviation, reflecting sustained investment in passenger comfort, premium services, and modern fleets.
AirlineRatings noted that the awards are designed to help travellers make informed choices by identifying airlines that deliver the best overall inflight experience across different categories.
The full report also includes rankings for low-cost and hybrid carriers, as well as top-performing cabins in Economy, Premium Economy, Business, and First Class.
