The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) expressed the party’s aim to win Rivers State in 2027. During the inauguration of the newly elected executive committee in Port Harcourt, he highlighted the party’s increasing presence in the South-South region. The chairman emphasized the importance of grassroots connection and unity within the party at all levels. He encouraged the new executive members to uphold internal democracy, attract new members, and ensure party growth. Additionally, he stressed the need for conflict resolution and peace within the party ranks. The chairman underscored the party’s success in gaining political ground in the region and set a goal to secure Rivers State for the APC. The new state chairman affirmed the party’s unity and determination to claim victory in the upcoming elections. He called for members involved in legal disputes to rejoin the party and work towards a common goal of success in 2027.
