The Ogun State Police Command reported the arrest of a truck driver and his assistant in connection with the death of a man allegedly assaulted for theft. The incident, which took place in Obada Oko, Abeokuta, was brought to light by a witness who saw the altercation. Following the report, the authorities apprehended the suspects and the victim was taken to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. The police have initiated investigations and urged the public to avoid violence that could disturb peace, particularly during the festive season.
