An advocate for the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has urged individuals involved in violent activities in the South East to embrace peace and refrain from making provocative statements that harm the region.
The counsel emphasized the importance of restoring peace in the South-East and urged those responsible for violence to reconsider their actions and strive for peaceful resolutions, highlighting that violence is not the path to freedom.
In a recent statement, the IPOB lawyer cautioned against being misled by a deceptive individual, urging for introspection and a shift towards peace.
Addressing the unfounded declaration of Biafra on a specific date, the counsel assured that such claims hold no validity and that time will pass without any significant events occurring.
Rejecting falsehoods and manipulations, the lawyer emphasized the need for truth and integrity, calling for a cessation of deceptive practices that do not serve the greater good.
Advocating for peace and unity in the Igbo community, the counsel stressed the importance of pursuing legitimate methods for addressing grievances and seeking justice, rather than resorting to violence or deceit.
The message underscored the futility of pursuing freedom through illegitimate means, emphasizing the need for a strategic and principled approach in advocating for the rights and well-being of the marginalized.
