the Maser Foundation has expanded its humanitarian footprint across Africa, reaching more than 1,000 children through education support programmes and carrying out 254 charity initiatives aimed at improving lives in underserved communities.
According to figures released by the organisation, the foundation has provided educational support, books, learning materials and school attendance assistance to over 1,000 children across the continent. It also disclosed that 395 vulnerable children have benefited from medical, nutritional and educational interventions designed to improve their quality of life.
The foundation said its growing impact reflects a broader commitment to addressing some of Africa’s most pressing social challenges through sustainable community development programmes.
Founded by tech entrepreneur and investor, Prateek Suri, the foundation was established to give back to communities across Africa and support long-term development initiatives.
Suri, who built Maser Group into a multi-billion-dollar enterprise operating across the continent, said the organisation is driven by a mission centered on dignity, opportunity and sustainable development.
Beyond educational support, the foundation’s programmes span healthcare, maternal and child health services, women’s economic empowerment, clean water projects, social housing initiatives and renewable energy interventions.
According to the organisation, its approach goes beyond traditional philanthropy by focusing on projects that strengthen local communities and create lasting social impact.
As part of its latest expansion efforts, the foundation has launched a Pan-African Volunteer Corps, beginning in Nigeria and expected to extend to several other African countries.
The initiative aims to recruit students, educators, healthcare professionals, entrepreneurs and community leaders to support grassroots projects in healthcare, education, humanitarian relief and skills development.
Speaking on the vision behind the programme, the foundation noted that Africa’s youthful population presents significant opportunities for social transformation when supported with access to quality education, healthcare and economic opportunities.
The organisation said its operating philosophy remains focused on investing in people, strengthening communities and creating impact that extends beyond short-term interventions.
With its growing network of programmes and volunteers, the Maser Foundation said it hopes to build a continent-wide ecosystem of opportunity by supporting communities through education, healthcare and social development initiatives.
The foundation added that its continued expansion signals a new phase in its efforts to drive positive change across Africa, one community at a time.
