Medical centre gets ISO certification, restates commitment to excellence

The Medical Art Centre in Ikeja, Lagos State, has recently been awarded the ISO 9001:2015 certification by IEMA Standards Limited. This certification underscores the center’s dedication to maintaining high standards of quality in its services.

During a press briefing, the Chairman and Chief Medical Director of the center highlighted the significance of the ISO 9001:2015 certification, emphasizing that it showcases the center’s commitment to excellence. He mentioned that the laboratory procedures strictly follow the standards set by the American Board of Bioanalysis and the Association of Fertility and Reproductive Health, aligning with global benchmarks.

The Chairman emphasized that adhering to international standards would position the organization at the forefront of its field. He expressed pride in the center’s 30-year legacy of quality and dedicated service in Assisted Reproductive Technology, culminating in the ISO 9001:2015 certification.

Over the years, the Medical Art Centre has celebrated the birth of more than 3,000 babies, spreading joy to families not only in Nigeria but also in neighboring West African countries, the Americas, and Europe.

The Director-General of IEMA Standards Limited, Dr. Raymond Smith, commended the center for meeting the rigorous evaluation process required to attain the certification. He mentioned that ongoing surveillance would be conducted to ensure continued compliance with international standards.
