During the NNPP’s National Executive Committee meeting in Kano, the national leader of the party criticized both the PDP and the ruling APC. He referred to the PDP as a “dead party” and described the APC as disconnected from the challenges faced by Nigerians, such as insecurity, poverty, and hunger.
Despite acknowledging the challenges within the NNPP, the leader expressed pride in the party’s growth and thanked supporters for their dedication. He highlighted the party as a promising alternative in the country’s political landscape.
The leader also noted the implosion within the PDP and the disconnect between the APC leadership and the realities on the ground. He criticized the ruling party’s performance in addressing issues like security, poverty, and hunger.
The NNPP National Chairman emphasized the importance of unity and doing what is right for building a better future, while the National Secretary encouraged active participation in local government elections to strengthen democracy.
The party’s commitment to supporting its leaders and respecting the will of the electorate during the country’s political challenges was also underlined.
