NPA lauds APMT’s commitment to safety standards

The Health, Safety, and Environment Manager at the Nigerian Ports Authority praised APM Terminal Apapa for its safety measures during the recent Global Safety Day event. The General Manager highlighted APM Terminal Apapa as a role model for other terminals nationwide due to its strong commitment to safety. The Port Manager of Lagos Port Complex Apapa also commended the terminal for being among the safest and well-organized in the country.

APM Terminal’s CEO emphasized the company’s unwavering commitment to safety as a core value that guides daily operations. The Terminal Manager stressed the importance of continuous learning and problem-solving to enhance workplace safety.

Children of employees participated in a safety slogan competition, promoting safety awareness from a young age. Prizes were awarded to the winners to encourage a culture of curiosity and learning among employees.
