The head of the Nigerian Army, Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, delivered a stern warning to criminal elements, asserting that the Nigerian Army, under his command, is prepared to take decisive action. During his first operational visit to the 1 Division Nigerian Army in Kaduna, Oluyede emphasized that adversaries should expect a more formidable force.
Oluyede outlined his command philosophy focused on leadership, efficient administration, and professionalism, signed on December 10. He stressed that soldiers would be his top priority, ensuring their welfare is optimized to enhance their performance in combating criminal activities.
The COAS encouraged frontline soldiers to remain resilient, promising the implementation of new strategies to improve field operations. He inaugurated upgraded facilities at the division’s Headquarters and emphasized the importance of enterprising attributes to the students of the Armed Forces Command and Staff College.
Oluyede commended the students on their completion of the course, highlighting the essential skills they acquired, such as time management, team spirit, and leadership qualities. He stressed the importance of maintaining professionalism and excellence in their future roles within the military.
