During the ongoing election campaigns in Ondo State, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has assured the public of his commitment to implementing development projects across all regions of the state. The governor recently visited various local government areas, including Ifedore, Akoko South East, and Akoko South-West, where he made promises to the residents.
Addressing the community at the palace of Oba Akinsunloye Oyolola of Isua Akoko, Governor Aiyedatiwa emphasized his administration’s dedication to inclusive governance and ensuring that every part of the state benefits from government initiatives. He specifically highlighted the importance of addressing security challenges in the Akoko area and pledged to enhance the state’s security network, particularly the Amotekun Corps, if re-elected.
Governor Aiyedatiwa also underscored the significance of infrastructure development, mentioning plans to improve the Isua road and enhance healthcare services in the local government area. Expressing gratitude for the warm reception he received during his visits, he urged the community to translate their support into votes during the upcoming election to sustain the progress made so far.
In response, Oba Akinsunloye praised the governor for appointing locals to key positions in his administration, emphasizing the community’s backing for his re-election bid. He acknowledged the positive impact of the governor’s initiatives and expressed gratitude for the inclusivity shown towards the people of the area.
