The Peoples Redemption Party has called on President Bola Tinubu to reconsider his economic policies, stating that the current hardships are becoming unbearable for the people. The party’s National Chairman, Falalu Bello, expressed concerns about the comments made by key figures in Tinubu’s administration and international institutions regarding the reforms.
Bello criticized the lack of tangible evidence showing relief for ordinary Nigerians despite promises from the government. He highlighted the disconnect between the government’s actions and the suffering of the populace, emphasizing the need for sustainable economic recovery through homegrown policies.
The PRP urged Tinubu to prioritize citizens’ welfare, implement viable alternatives, and avoid externally imposed measures that hinder progress. They stressed the importance of timely intervention to rescue the nation from despair and ensure a better future for all.
