Thuraya vice president loses luggage at Abuja airport

A report emerged that the luggage belonging to a Vice President of Thuraya Satellite Communications, Martin Kaufmann, went missing at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in the Federal Capital Territory. The incident was disclosed during a telecom partnership event in Abuja.

Thuraya, a significant satellite operator, offers advanced communication technologies across various terrains. Kaufmann, usually seen in formal attire, attended the event in a black jacket and grey trousers.

Kaufmann acknowledged the loss and mentioned being assured by the airport authorities that his belongings would be located and returned promptly.

During the event, attendees approached Kaufmann to offer support, and the host playfully teased him about borrowing dresses if his luggage remained missing.

Efforts to obtain comments from Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development officials present were unsuccessful, as they directed inquiries to the Special Assistant on Media and Communications to the Minister, Tunde Moshood.

When contacted, Moshood expressed surprise and indicated he was unaware of the incident, promising to investigate further.
