Tinubu swears in seven new ministers

President Bola Tinubu recently inaugurated seven new ministers into his cabinet at the Council Chamber of the State House in Abuja. The Senate confirmed all seven nominees after individual screenings. The new ministers were sworn in two groups, with four in the first batch and three in the second, following the reading of their citations by the State House Director of Information, Abiodun Oladunjoye.

The first batch of appointees includes Idi Maiha as Minister of Livestock Development, Yusuf Ata as Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Dr. Suwaiba Ahmad as Minister of State for Education, and Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs. Subsequently, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda, and Muhammadu Dingyadi took their oaths as Ministers of Industry, Trade, and Investment; Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction; and Labour and Employment, respectively.
