Trump team reports bomb threats to cabinet nominees

Reports have emerged that members of a recent administration have faced threats, including bomb alerts, as revealed by a spokesperson for the president-elect on Wednesday.

The transition team’s representative, in a statement, mentioned incidents where Cabinet nominees and Administration appointees were subjected to violent threats to their safety, with cases ranging from bomb threats to “swatting,” a dangerous practice of falsely summoning police to a person’s residence.

One congresswoman, selected for a UN ambassador role, shared that her New York residence was targeted in a bomb threat while returning home for the Thanksgiving holiday.

The FBI acknowledged being aware of several bomb threats and swatting incidents, emphasizing the seriousness of all potential threats.

As the transition unfolds, President Trump has swiftly put together a cabinet of close allies, despite criticism of some members for their lack of experience.

These events come as Trump readies himself to return to the White House, following an attempt on his life earlier in the year and ongoing legal battles.
