The Governor of Ondo State recently won his reelection and received his Certificate of Return. He led a delegation to meet with the APC National Working Committee but chose not to present the certificates to the National Chairman as part of the protocol.
He explained that the decision was not meant as disrespect but rather a choice to first present the certificate to the President before following protocol. Despite not presenting the certificates, he acknowledged the leadership of the National Chairman in the party’s success.
