A statement signed by the NLC state chairman, Muktar Tarbutu, clarified that negotiations on the new minimum wage between a joint committee of government representatives and NLC had been successfully concluded. The report has been submitted to Governor Mai Mala Buni for review and approval.
The NLC urged Yobe State civil servants to ignore the misleading circular and continue their regular duties.
