The reduction in petrol prices across the country is attributed to increased competition following the deregulation of the downstream sector. Independent marketers are now buying directly from producers like Dangote, leading to price drops and increased competition. Despite fluctuations in prices, the deregulation of the oil sector is driving market dynamics, resulting in price adjustments based on various factors.
