A faction of a political party led by a certain individual on Tuesday sought a court order to prevent the party and the electoral commission from annulling a planned meeting.

The lawsuit, filed by another individual at a High Court, appealed for an injunction from a different court to be set aside.

As of now, it is uncertain how another faction plans to react to this new development.
